Linde Arentze, MA
Biography
Linde Arentze was Strategic Analyst at The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS), where she conducted research around strategic security issues for the Ministry of Defence and the National Police, and worked as a researcher for the Intimacies of Remote Warfare (IRW) programme at Utrecht University.
Arentze holds a Master's degree in Conflict Studies and Human Rights (cum laude, 2022) and a Bachelor's degree in History of International Relations from Utrecht University (2021). In addition to her work for IRW, during her studies she held internships at NIMH (2021) and the Directorate General Policy on the Administrative Staff (2022) of the Ministry of Defence.
Her research focuses on civil-military relations and long-distance warfare. Her graduate research within the Dutch military innovation landscape studied the increasing integration of artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies in military (weapon) systems and the impact of these developments on military-industrial relations and warfare.
