Biography

René van Heijningen is Information and Collection Specialist at the department Collections and Services at NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies. He studied history at the University of Amsterdam. At NIOD, he is engaged in applied research, provides services in NIOD’s reading room, and works on the maintenance of the Honour Roll of the Fallen 1940-1945.
